Woodstock is Japan’s first social investing app that allows users to invest in the US market with as little as 200 yen. Users can share trades, discuss market trends, or show off their portfolio like it’s a new pair of shoes on Instagram.
We are an early stage, well funded consumer fintech startup (raised JPY 750M to date from top investors globally) with an innovative product and diverse culture. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as a Strategy and BizOps, working directly with me to drive our company forward. They will jump on whatever needs attention, from corp strategy, HR planning, PR/ marketing management, pipeline analysis, new business strategy, partnership discussions, etc.

This role is perfect for someone who is:
* Analytical & Strategic: With a strong background in business analysis, market research, and strategic planning.
* Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing complex operations with precision.
* Ambitious: Ready to work extremely hard and grow rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Market & Customer Research: Keep a pulse on market trends and customer needs to guide product development and marketing strategies.
* Financial Operations: Manage financial processes, data room, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
*Strategic Projects: Take ownership of projects that drive growth.
* Investor Relations: Engage and maintain relationships with investors, ensuring our financial health and growth.
*Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to inform our strategic decisions.
* Customer success: Engage with customers to understand pain points and troubleshoot issues when required.
Ideal Background:
Experience in consulting, Investment Banking Division (IBD), or Fintech, particularly in roles involving data, pitch decks, financial analysis, corporate strategy and planning.
A proven track record in a growth-oriented environment, showcasing your ability to adapt and excel. Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the opportunity to shape processes and strategies.
Bilingual in Japanese and English
