ポジションの業務内容 / Job Description

  • Summary
  • Coral Capital is looking for someone to support legal, finance, compliance, and other operational matters across the firm. This person would work with our VP of Finance, one of our Founding Partners, and liaise with outside counsel on fund structuring, closing, and ongoing regulatory and compliance matters. They would also support deal execution across all fund investments.
  • Responsibilities
  • Fund Operations
  • Collect supporting documentation for portfolio company audits
  • Update and manage portfolio company details in our database
  • Update fund KPIs (IRR/TVPI etc) across the firm’s funds
  • Take care of ongoing compliance and regulatory filings (適格機関投資家特例業務, Cayman AML/CFT, etc)
  • LP Management
  • Respond to investor requests related to legal and compliance matters
  • Conduct legal due diligence and manage the deal closing process for new investments
  • Portfolio management
  • Produce proxy statements for shareholder meetings
  • Respond to ad-hoc portfolio company inquiries on legal matters
  • Corporates
  • Support all legal matters unrelated to investment (HR, IP, compliance, etc).
  • Help automate legal operations to improve efficiency
  • Fundraising
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on fund structuring / formation
  • Support the LP due diligence process during fund closings

必要なスキル・経験 / Requirement Skills and experiences

  • Ideal Candidate
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a supportive role at a law firm (paralegal), accounting firm, or investment bank (middle/back office/compliance)
  • An uncanny attention to detail - Naturally a perfectionist, but also comfortable in a startup environment
  • A self-starter and fast learner who can work independently but collaborate as a team
  • Native Japanese, business level English
